Biography
Liz Ruest is a Canadian artist, based in the Seattle area since 1989. She grew up near Ottawa, influenced by surrounding farmland and impressionistic landscapes at the National Gallery. Merging her training in technology with her lifelong artistic habits, Liz digitally layers handmade art and photography from horizons near and far to create abstracted landscapes that reflect the immigrant’s journey. Her work has been collected, and recognized, locally and internationally.
