Large Works Installed

Today, I’m excited to say, I delivered 3 new pieces of my work to Silver Glen, a unique, co-op retirement community near me. I happened to be at artEAST a few weeks back when a couple of their design committee members came into the gallery, looking for art for their newly-redone dining room. When they stopped in front of my work, I introduced myself and we began a lovely conversation about what they were looking for, what would work well in their setting, and which pieces might fit their members’ tastes.

After several weeks of discussion, meetings, presentations, and emails, we came up with a plan: these pieces from my 2013 and 2014 bodies of work would suit their membership and their setting well. I love their choices, and agree that the pieces will enhance the soft green wall and warm colors of their dining area. Here’s how they look in the room!
