Barred

What seemed like an unlikely combination at first now seems eerie and pertinent. As we meandered through the north of England, I nabbed a shot of a castle wall. I loved not only the texture but the cross-shaped openings. Later, on a quick trip to Quebec City, I noticed the antique shops all selling old licence plates, in particular a wonderfully olive green from 1971. Right up my color alley and a perfect example of the documentation process in our lives. Additional texture here is provided by old subway tiles in England, moss on some beach rocks, and a grunge texture manufactured from clouds, brushes, and lines.
