I have worked up some larger textures for my 2012 palette, and they are available on Flickr to share!

For example, this texture/color was built up from old cracked red paint at an inn on Vancouver Island, adjusted for brightness & contrast, then modified with:

• cracked plaster
• yellow leaves in the sunlight
• batik fabric from a shop in Edinburgh
• leaves and ground cover in a park below Edinburgh castle

and all combined with Overlay, Screen, and Vivid modes. See the Flickr set for more colors and descriptions of how each one is created.
