Do you have a place you go to, in your mind, to regain calm? For me, the long view to the sea is an escape, a sense of possibility, a chance to renew.

This composition uses not only a handmade collage, but also an inked collagraph plate, and the resulting print from a third collage. Details from an old door along the bottom imply a fence, and handwriting and math notation add interest and depth.
