I miss writing in a calendar, and these past many months have been particularly hard. How many times have I lost track — of the day, week, season? And yet, this year was also about better monitoring my habits: am I remembering to stretch, floss, reach out to a friend? The kind of things it would be great to write down! I also miss laying out a calendar — a mini show where the pieces relate to the months, and to each other.

How about this, for a remedy: a month-by-month option to cross out days, or just to remember where you’re at. It was such a problem, I almost titled this as a 2021 calendar! See, I need this for really basic stuff. You too?
I looked through my work in progress, and I’ve got plenty of images I haven’t found a series or outlet for, so why not a calendar? I’ve chosen a small-format (just 5″x5″) planning calendar, with my images on the front, back, and left-hand pages, and a bold rendering of the months on the right side There’s a range of of digital collage experiments and photographic layering that I’m quite fond of, and, while I might find a home for them in the future, for now, you’ll only see them if you order the calendar.
For reference, I used BayPhoto.com, my trusted printer for my large images on aluminum and paper, and they did a great job, and Square for order inventory. Tracking, solved!
