Want to run into me in December? While I’m no longer a Washington-based business, I do still store a lot of my art and supplies in my Ballard studio space. What say we meet up & make stuff, perhaps while my studio mates have holiday items for sale?

Joan Bazaz (prints, left) and our prior studio mate Diane Kappa (painting, right) will have recent and holiday-inspired work for sale. Beside us, Brightly Ceramics is also open with gift options, and to the south, Salty Dog Studios is celebrating 50 years (!) with their annual holiday sale. More folks on that corner are joining in on the fun, making it worth a visit.
I’ll be in the studio for both Saturday & Sunday, but you’re welcome to catch the opening night festivities on Friday too. I’ll be keeping my studio mates company starting on Saturday morning, puttering with my supplies, and happy to have you join me: make some collage? A card? A gift tag? Trade collage fodder or artist trading cards? Just chat? It’s all good!
Of course I’d be delighted if you are interested in some of my art — I just can’t sell it to you directly. But we can talk options: there’s my print-on-demand site, Redbubble, where you can order gift items directly, and larger work is available in Pioneer Square through Lynn Hanson Gallery — ask her to show you what’s on hand in her supplemental space down the hall. Custom orders are always a possibility, which I can fulfil once I’m back in Vancouver.
I hope we can connect soon, perhaps in person. Here’s the scoop for the studio hours, and I’m in the area through the month of December, if you have some alternate ideas.
