Call for Art: Special Agent Collage Collective

I’m delighted to say that I’ve been invited to help curate a show! Andrea Lewicki, the powerhouse behind Special Agent Collage Collective thought we should have some digital collage art, and a few exchanges later, it’s here. She also decided it should be one of her Special Agent missions, AND that the show should be part of Collage-o-Rama 2025. I love all of this!

So: what’s the scoop?

  1. Doyou work with digital art as part of your process? This call might be for you. If you’d love to try it, but haven’t before, wow, does she have other calls that might appeal more; see below.
  2. Do you document how you work somewhere that you can share? We’d love to see the wide variety of creativity out there.
  3. Do you use AI as part of your process? Sorry to say, this call is NOT for you — we’re looking for the human side of composition.

Would you like to join the collective, and get your own special agent card & number? Just apply by the end of March. Here is the full prospectus, on her site: Mission 24: Complex Pictures.

There are several other calls that will intersect with Collage-o-Rama; one or more of these might suit you too:

On top of all that, there’s a call for a residency, to be completed within the Collage-o-Rama dates. Maybe that’s you?

Once the celebration of collage is underway in Belltown, in Seattle, there will be lots of opportunity to participate, drop in, take a workshop, and more. Keep an eye on that Andrea, she thinks BIG!
