I finally applied to this great organization, UpFront [art] in Issaquah; I’ve been meaning to do it for months. The parent organization, ArtEast, hosts this gallery, as well as classes and community events for artists. I’ve always had a wonderful reception any time I’ve visited them.

My application was reviewed promptly and I was delighted to hear that I’m accepted, on a wait-list basis. Another encaustic artist got in the previous month, and they have a glut of excellent artists at the moment.

In the meantime, I’m happy to be bidding on a piece in their current fundraiser, 100′ of Art, which goes until April 23rd.
