Fusing

A tree in a nearby park becomes a blur of texture.

I started with a monoprint base of ochre ringed shapes, created from 5 separate layers, then added detail with another gelatin monoprint from some lace fabric. The tree settled in as the focal point next, and then the piece was finished off with a multiple-layer grunge texture overlay, created from my own images.
