Waiting — for the tide to come in, for the time to be right, to have the energy for the next step. Patience can be more tiring than taking action!

This piece uses two handmade collages, plus a ghost print of another, to build this story of waiting and resting. A focal point, top right, shows a boat at low tide in Portree harbor on the Isle of Skye.
