Are we not all wishing for a safe place, a refuge, where we can rest, think, and plan?

The focal point of this piece is a stone cottage at the end of the road on the Isle of Skye, that exuded just those qualities. The piece uses several handmade collages and a collagraph plate, as well as some text and notation, to further the sense of  the layers of comfort that a home provides.
