I’m on the Isle of Skye, saying goodbye to a new friend, and she says: just walk down this path. Hmmmm, it leads into some woods along a river. And then what?

Well, this! On a roundabout return to my lodgings, I came out of the undergrowth to  find this delightful, quiet row of cottages in the north end of Portree. They signified relief, homecoming, normalcy.
