Threads (2013)

We have all taken a journey, seen new horizons: we are all cut from the same cloth. Our history, our family, our transformations, have marked us with a common thread. These horizons try to incorporate that sense of lineage that is common to every family’s story. The textures in each of these pieces incorporate handmade fiber in some way, whether directly from photography, indirectly through printmaking, or even via microscope, as a tribute to ancestry and persistence.
