Hedgerow

I have been lucky enough to visit England several times, and love the abundance of trees in the landscapes there. They border fields and you can get a little too close to them on the narrow roads. These trees in Devon are built from three separate color layers. First, the trunks are a dark periwinkle, textures built from bark and old wood. Next, the trees are given depth from layers of deep green texture and vines. Finally, the sky is a teal that has everything from lace to leaves, water lilies to clouds, to create a beautiful composite blue — though the original shot was just a gray, cloudy day!
