This piece has the most pedigree as a collage. The handmade base is so crammed with text, handwriting imprints, and monoprint pieces that it didn’t need much more in the way of digital layers. I applied a gray/green texture selectively, using its inverse to create a warm brown, and finished with my handy stone texture composite. Additional digital details include a Tiffany tile mosaic in two different sizes, and a set of rowhouses from the east end of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
