Ancient Celtic patterns carved in stone shout “Lineage!” as they stand strong.
I used a base collage chock full of gold and purple monoprinting and delicate mauve tissue paper, and loaded it with more: digital scans of monoprints to enhance the grid layout, gray-green texture composite to provide a sense of additional aging, stone texture on top of stone detail.
You might also spot a roofline from Trinity College, stone finials from Dublin Castle, Celtic knot details from the Glasgow Necropolis, and an echoed Celtic cross. Windows from Edinburgh Castle give your eyes a place to rest.
