Show: Reset

A new winter show, Reset, at Lynn Hanson Gallery, is upon us! Before I escaped north, I left a piece with Lynn, who’d invited a bunch of us to submit art made during the pandemic. It was a stretch for me: I wanted to use one of my new abstract explorations, even though it’s not in a series yet. (That counts as brave, for me…) But the series is underway, especially now that this piece, how far the sky went, is officially in the show.

It’s new territory for me, not in palette or composition, but in the lack of photography! I’m grateful to Lynn for holding her space open for exploration, to being in great company in this show, and to knowing I’m not alone in trying to continue creating during the pandemic. I hope you can visit the show, in person or online.
