men of valor

Each of our lives has had influence from a vast number of sources: not just our individual interactions, but the entirety of the culture we grew up in, and the ancestries that contributed to it.

As a nod to said ancestry, there’s a very regal base collage: it has purple and gold elements in a grid composition. (Hey, you can always hope for royalty in the family tree, right?) Building block layers add multiple versions of growth and change: lichen, fencing along a dune, farmland horizons, cracking wall paint, and a page from a dictionary, all symbolizing cultural influence.
